| 内容記述 | 心理学を専攻することに決めた初学者がどのような学習上の課題を体験し、どのような学びを得ているかについての質的な検討はあまりなされてこなかった。本研究の目的は、学生が経験する学習上の課題とプロセス、そして取り組みから得られるメリットについて探索的に検討し、示唆を得ることであった。心理学を専攻している学生5 名を対象に、卒業研究に対する取り組みについて半構造化面接を実施した。修正版グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチ（M-GTA）を用いて分析し、最終的に10 のカテゴリーと13 の概念が得られた。 < 興味・関心> から出発した卒業研究の取り組みは、< 自分で調べる＞作業を経て、< 第一のつまづき［知識不足］> を経験する。< 知識の整理の工夫> に勤めながら< 心理学概念につなげる> ことに成功すると進展するが、次に< 第二のつまづき［停滞］> を経験する。< 思考の整理の工夫> を繰り返し、自身のテーマと向き合う中で< 研究の方向性の定着> に至り、< 研究の楽しさの発見> を経験するという、学生の取り組みのプロセスモデルが得られた。 |

| 内容記述 | Qualitative consideration about challenges and outcomes on what kind of learning is given to beginners who have decided to major in psychology has not been examined enough. The purpose of the present study was to consider the merit and the challenges of the learning experiences, and the process of beginners’graduation study. Semi-structured interviews about the learning experience were conducted with five participants. That material was analyzed with a modified grounded theory approach (M-GTA), which resulted in 10 categories and 13 concepts. Beginners started to study from their “interests”, and “searched the materials”, but they experienced “their first failure [the lack of their knowledge].” The“Acquisition of knowledge” helps to “connect their interests to psychological constructs” which enables them to advance their studies. However“ the second failure[delay]” brings trials and errors to beginners to “settle the direction of the study.”Settling the direction enables beginners to discover “ the taste of their study.” |
